Fabrication of quantum amplifiers for quantum computation
YQuantum is developing next-generation quantum amplifiers—key components for reading extremely weak signals in quantum processors. Supported by a Quantum Voucher, the project enables high-precision measurements while preserving fragile quantum information. By accessing facilities at PSI’s PICO cleanroom, YQuantum is turning cutting-edge designs into real hardware and helping to strengthen a critical part of Switzerland’s quantum technology supply chain.

Vier Projekte im Rahmen der Ausschreibung für «TRL-enhancing initiatives» ausgewählt
Innerhalb der Swiss Quantum Initiative (SQI) hat der Vorstand der SCNAT im Rahmen der Ausschreibung «TRL-enhancing initiatives» vier Projekte zur Förderung ausgewählt. Von 16 insgesamt eingereichten Anträgen waren in dem zwei stufigen Verfahren vier erfolgreich. Das Gesamtfördervolumen beträgt 15 Millionen CHF.

The Spin Physics Lab at ETH Zurich is developing a robust photonic packaging solution for on-chip nano-optomechanical systems operating at cryogenic temperatures. The host of the required infrastrucure for the packaging process is SwissPIC.
