Fabrication of quantum amplifiers for quantum computation
YQuantum is developing next-generation quantum amplifiers—key components for reading extremely weak signals in quantum processors. Supported by a Quantum Voucher, the project enables high-precision measurements while preserving fragile quantum information. By accessing facilities at PSI’s PICO cleanroom, YQuantum is turning cutting-edge designs into real hardware and helping to strengthen a critical part of Switzerland’s quantum technology supply chain.

Four Projects Selected in the Call for TRL-enhancing initiatives
Within the Swiss Quantum Initiative (SQI) the SCNAT Executive Board has selected four projects for funding under its call for proposals for TRL-enhancing initiatives. Out of a total of 16 submitted proposals, four were successful in the two-stage process. The total funding volume amounts to CHF 15 million.
