Individual atoms and molecules at surfaces are opening new frontiers in quantum technologies. This conference brings together cutting-edge research on quantum states, spin systems, and novel devices at the atomic scale. Explore how new experimental methods enable sensing, information storage, and quantum logic with unprecedented precision.

The conference will cover a broad range of phenomena occurring with atomic and molecular scale assemblies on surfaces: This in particular includes the quantum effects of coherence and entanglement, as well as different techniques to probe and manipulate electronic states and spins on surfaces. The following topics are considered of particular interest:

  • Real and artificial atoms
  • Molecular magnets
  • Quantum dots
  • Experimental probes
  • Theoretical methods
  • Quantum simulators
